USPTO Declares Apple’s Multitouch “Steve Jobs” Patent Invalid, The Crowd Goes Wild
Given that he has plenty of experience with patents, we’ll assume Florian Mueller of FOSS Patents knows what he’s talking about when he says that this move is preliminary. In other words, this doesn’t mean that Apple’s patent is done, but that this is the first step towards invalidating it.
First Office actions and other non-final Office actions are just preliminary. Many patent claims that are rejected at this stage do ultimately survive. There are many steps inside the USPTO, followed by a potential appeal to the Federal Circuit (and in a few cases even the Supreme Court).We shall see what happens next.
Some people say that first Office actions are partial because they are based only on submissions made by those challenging the patent, and many examiners like to take a tough position early on in order to enable and require the patentee to present the strongest arguments in favor of validity. But it would be a mistake to underestimate the significance of a first Office action.

ลือสนั่น iPhone 5 ใช้งาน Quad Core CPU เร็วไม่แพ้ Galaxy S3
ทั้งนี้ทั้งนั้นสำหรับ Quad Core CPU ใน iPhone 5 จะเลือกใช้งานสถาปัตยกรรมชิปเซ็ตในตระกูล Samsung Exynos 4 ARM ซึ่งคาดว่า Apple น่าจะใช้ชื่อเรียกว่า Apple A6 นั่นเอง โดยในปัจจุบันนี้ iPhone 4S ยังคงใช้งานหน่วยประมวลผลแบบ Dual Core CPU (A5) ในขณะที่ New iPad นั้นได้รับการอัพเกรดไปใช้งานชิปเซ็ต A5X ซึ่งมีหน่วยประมวลผลกราฟฟิคเป็น Quad Core GPU เท่านั้น

ได้บอกเล่าเหตุการณ์แปลกประหลาดในบอร์ด boards.ie อยู่ๆ Galaxy S3
ของเค้าก็เกิดแสงไฟสีขาววาบ เข้ามาในตาพร้อมกับเสียงไฟช็อตดัง เปรี๊ยะ
เปรี๋ยะ เมื่อเหลือบตาไปมองก็พบว่า Samsung Galaxy S3
กำลังพ่นไฟเผาก้นตัวเองอยู่ หลังจากที่ไฟดับลงก็มีสภาพแบบนี้ครับ (จากข่าวเก่า)
หลังจากที่ Samsung ได้รับการแจ้งเหตุ ก็ได้ปรึกษาบริษัท Fire Investigations UK (FIUK) ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทที่เชี่ยวชาญในการหาสาเหตุเพลิงไหม้ โดย FIUK ได้เปิดเผยสาเหตุที่ทำให้เกิดไฟไหม้ครั้งนี้ว่า เกิดมาจากความร้อนจากภายนอก โดยต้นกำเนิดความร้อนไม่ได้มาจากเครื่อง Galaxy S3
นอกจากนี้ FIUK ยังได้กล่าวอีกว่า ทางเดียวที่จะทำให้เกิดการเผาไหม้อย่างนี้ คือผู้ใช้ต้องเอา Galaxy S3 เข้าไปในไมโครเวฟเท่านั้น
ซึ่งต่อมา นาย dillo2k10 ได้ออกมากล่าวว่า มีคนอื่นที่เอามือถือเค้าไปใช้งานแล้วบังเอิญทำตกน้ำ เนื่องด้วย Galaxy S3 นั้นมีราคาแพง จึงพยายามที่จะทำให้มือถือของเค้าแห้ง จึงทำให้เกิดเรื่องราวดราม่านี้ขึ้น ซึ่งตอนนี้เจ้าตัวลบกระทู้ต้นเรื่องนี้ทิ้งไปแล้ว
สรุป ถ้ามือถือเปียกให้เอาเข้าถังข้าวสาร อย่าได้เอาเข้า Microwave ไม่งั้นจะเกิดดราม่าเช่นนี้

[Thai] ผู้ใช้ Motorola Razr มีคนเริ่มได้กิน ICS ผ่าน OTA แล้ว

หลังจาก Motorola SEA ประกาศความคืบหน้าการอัพเดท ICS ผ่านหน้า Fan Page ของตนเอง ตอนนี้เริ่มมีผู้ใช้ Motorola Razr ได้รับการอัพเดท ICS แล้วผ่าน OTA โดยมีขนาด File อัพเดทประมาณ 284 Mb ซึ่งคาดว่าการอัพเดทน่าจะทยอยออกมาโดยเรียงตามหมายเลขเครื่องและล็อตผลิต เพื่อป้องกันปัญหา server ล่ม ใครที่ยังไม่ได้ก็รออีกไม่เกิน 4-5 วัน น่าจะทยอยๆ มากันครับ
แต่ตอนนี้เหมือนยังมีคนกล้าๆ กลัวๆ ไม่กล้าอัพเดท เพราะ Motorola Razr ยังคง Lock Bootloader ถ้าหากอัพเดทเป็น ICS แล้วจะถอยกลับมาเป็น Gingerbread ไม่ได้ สามารถไปลองกดอัพเดทดูได้ที่ Settings > About phone > System updates
